WINDSOR HOUSE, KALK BAY

An upstairs apartment just across the road from Kalk Bay’s quaint fishing harbour demanded a renovation that was bright and elegant with a classic, almost timeless feel to resonate the historic village atmosphere. A chic home from home.

The internal spaces were tweaked rather than radically reconfigured, but with all new finishes and fittings, inserted into and working with the existing, historic fabric rather than overwhelming it. In the process of the build, the clients fell in love with the space to the extent that it is now a holiday home for them rather than merely a property in their portfolio.
